YOUR ROLE
Your role as a Kitchen Porter will be to keep the kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all areas are clean, tidy, organised and compliant with Hygiene and Health & safety standards. You will be required to wash pots and pans to the company standard at a fast pace, ensuring the chef has full availability at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene
Help to maintain a good working environment within the company and good working
Support the Chef with basic food preparation before kitchen/restaurant opens
Washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
Be fully conversant with the Company hygiene policy
Experience & Knowledge
Awareness of hygiene and safety regulations
Interest in food and food preparation
Skills
Good communication skills
Ability to carry out tasks quickly
Attributes
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to work on your own and use your initiative
Ability to work in a team
